Hi Everyone! We are Alberto and Shauna Mendoza, owners of Final Cut Sports Barbershop, Newington. We are proud to be part of 4 generations of barbers in our family to carry on the love and art of barbering.  The business was originally started by our late dad (and father-in-law), Joe Giuliano, many years ago in West Hartford Center. Joe taught Alberto how to cut hair personally; and in 2021 we had the honor to carry on Joe’s dream and take over the business in West Hartford. Since then, we have worked hard to seamlessly maintain the quality reputation The Final Cut has always been known for. After a couple years went by, we decided it was time for growth. We wanted to sustain the core and heart of what the Final Cut has always been about while putting our own flair into it. And just like that we took all Joe’s hard work and combined it with our own hard work and vision to create something amazing in our own hometown of Newington – the community which we live in and love. We are so proud of what we’ve built and are so excited that we get to share this experience with our clients. A family friendly environment with a fresh sharp look, and the same quality and reputation the Final Cut has always been known for. We both have a ton of experience in hospitality and customer service and love working with people. While we may play different roles (Alberto being the master with the scissors and Shauna managing the business behind the scenes) we have the same goal which is to bring our clients the very best experience we can possibly give.
